3.1.6 मान्बधदान्शान्भ्यो दीर्घश्चाभ्यासस्य
संधि विच्छेद : मान बध् दान् शान् भ्य दीर्घ अभ्यास स्य

Language Meaning: The affix सन् comes after the verbs मान ‘to honour’, बध् ‘to bind’, दान् ‘to cut’, and शान् ‘to whet’, and long ई is the substitute of इ of the reduplicate (7.4.79 and 6.1.4) syllable.
Literal Meaning:
