लकार

Fishing has started using the entangled water-vines with floaters (त) at one end and sinker stones(क) at the other end. In this era, the understanding of time evolved in the context of high and low tides. The understanding evolved as follows -

लङ्

लङ् means , Sand periphery/outside (is visible) – tide long gone. Hence लङ् means अन-अद्यतन भूत काल.

लुङ्

लुङ् means , Sand up periphery (is visible) – Tide has recently receded but where sand is up - mounds - it is visible but not entire periphery. Hence लुङ् means सामान्य भूत काल.

लीङ्

लीङ् means , Sand below periphery/outside. This is the desired state because this state brings in food. This could have meant वर्तमान. But circuitry for desire was unlabled and circuitry to distinguish and lable वर्तमान[^1] was low priority. Hedespitete of meaning exactly same in real world, लीङ् indicates desire and not वर्तमान. At this stage differentiation between one’s own desire and desire of society are not differentiated so विधलीङ् and आशिर्लीङ् have not yet evolved and there is only लीङ्.

After some time, who knows how much, a mechanism was deviced to identify when high tide will occur. Hollow coconut (ट) was used as a bowl to make a mound ot sand somewhere in the intertidal zone. We are yet in a phase where कर्ता, कर्म, करण, क्रियापद differentiation has not evolved. So the bowl, mound, act of creating a mound, creater of a mound - all are called ट. Other लकार evolved in context of this ट. I beiइ eve hollow coconut was place a top this mound (वाट). This mound, over a period of time should have evolved into a weir/enclosure, increasing catch.

लट

लट means , sand mound (वाट) is seen. High tide is on going. Assumption here is entire mound is not seen only top is seen.

लीट

लीट means , sand below mound. Mound is disintegrated or ट is dislodged from mound. So the tide has receded. लङ् also indicates this state. So “not seen” is hue added to लीट to distinguish it from लङ्.

लुट

लुट means = sand up mound is visible. This indicates tide has not yet compl;eted high tide cycle. But is is certainly, decisively is hapenning.

लृट

लृट means , sand superior mound is visible - the mound is intact. So tide has not occurred nor it is underway. So This too says Tide lies in future. But has more uncertainty about when and if it will occur.

लेट

लेट = , means sampradan (sand) bowl/mound, that is, receive/connect sand bowl. It refers to a state of being/emotion we are not accustomed to. It is desire[^2] but in a different state of mind.

लोट

लोट, , means apaadan (sand) bowl, that is, detach sand from bowl.
आज्ञा ( ज्ञ ) means upto here widen surface. It referred to dismentaling mound.

लृङ्

लृङ् sand superior outside, has been added later on only to complete the set. In reality, if sand is superior outside, there is no tide. It came to be used in the sense “Because there is no sea, there is no tide” sense.

Comments -
लकार is proof that more matters to us than past present and future. They are -

  1. What could have been only if…
  2. What is certain about the future just because the process has started and what is not so certain
  3. Desire - of self and society, though differentialtion between these two was not there at begining
  4. Seen and derived are different. These innocent people yet had no concept of not seen, not real but told to be so.
  5. Sense of mastery

Other observations

  1. Time is cyclical. Because tides repeat. भूत and भविष्य refer to the same sand coming out of sea; time is a circular aspect.

[^1] : वर्तमान = = Wave water float fish here here pull.
[^2] : There should be a word that can express the feeling of control/prediction ability/understanding mechanism of the world that Homo Erectus would have felt when s/he made a tool to get an anticipatory signal that the tide, and consequently food, is coming. Word for feeling in modern day context would be somewhat like what Steve would have felt when the Apple-1 generated colourful dot in TV screen. “master of the universe” feeling sort of. “I can do” feeling. being in phase with nature.

लेट describes wishing in this state of mind.
